The rest of Gayle's trip

So, we are sick of living in the past and would like to start posting what is going on now. We spent another day in Berlin and saw some more sites and headed home to Heidelberg. We were sad to leave. Berlin is one of our favorites cities. It has the coolest feel to it. There is so much to see and do. I think anyone's trip to Europe is not complete until experiencing Berlin.

After the big Berlin trip we played around in Heidelberg. We had a rockin New Year's Eve Party. We ate good German food, and basically fell asleep until we were awoken by M80's exploding outside of our windows. It was insane, roman candles popping off of our windows, people singing, people breaking their bottles of liquor, etc. It was wonderful.
